WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Toy Story 4 is probably the final installment of Disney Pixar’s franchise.  It appeals to all ages (parents and children alike). For those children who loved growing up with Woody, Buzz, Jessie and the gang, this is a treat in itself.  New characters like Forky also grab our hearts.

WHAT’S THE STORY?

Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang start on a road trip with Bonnie and a new character named Forky. The adventurous journey turns into an unexpected meeting as Woody’s slight detour leads him to his long-lost friend Bo Peep. As Woody and Bo talk about the old days, they soon start to realize that they are not really what a toy should be.

WHAT CAN YOU TALK TO YOUR CHILDREN ABOUT?

  • Ask you children if they found the ending the movie satisfying
  • Do the characters in the movie showcase empathy, kindness and love?
  • Which characters were their favorite and why?
  • How does this movie compare to all other movies they have seen?
