1 cup raw almonds
2 cups water, plus more for soaking
1 date (without seeds)

METHOD
- Soak the almonds overnight in water in a bowl. Cover the bowl with the cloth.
- Drain and rinse almonds thoroughly in clear water.
- Place almonds and water in a blender and pour in 2 cups of water. Blend almonds until texture is very fine.
- Strain almonds with strainer over a bowl.
- Press all almond milk from the almond meal
- Add the de-seeded dates and blend again for a minute until fully blended.
- Refrigerate almond milk in sealed bottles in the fridge for up to two days.
- Enjoy with your child!
